Last week, I met a fourth grader walking around Harvard Square with her mom and her guinea pig, Acorn. He was a very happy little guy, nestling in her arms, and I was reminded about how sweet these little mammals are.
Orean and Sparrow are at Manchester Animal Shelter and this bonded-pair of young males enjoy playing with one another, hanging out in their little shelters and grazing on their veggies.
For a family with limited space, guinea pegs can be excellent pets. They will need daily exercise, gentle handling and short-haired breeds like these two need gentle brushing a few times a week. Bedding should be changed every week, and happy guinea pigs will chirp their approval. Can you find a home for these handsome gentlemen?
