PACH in Pepperell to host drive-thru food drive on Saturday, Oct. 8

Pepperell Aid From Community to Home Outreach will be hosting a drive-thru food drive from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at its office and food pantry at 66 Hollis St., Pepperell.

To help, clean out your cabinets or check out food sales. PACH is getting ready for the holiday season and needs your help.

To donate, simply drive through the parking lot and volunteers will unload your donations while you wait. Please donate non-perishable, non-expired food items such as canned foods, side dishes, baking mixes, coffee, tea, juice, pastas, canned fruit and snacks.

The pantry is also in need of personal care items like shampoo, toothpaste and soap. Household goods including cleaning products, paper towels and toilet paper are also needed.

The PACH food pantry in an all-volunteer organization and has remained open throughout the pandemic. Getting food from the pantry often provides residents of Pepperell and Dunstable with enough help for people with limited income to use the income they do have to pay other necessary bills like rent or medical bills.

The pantry is open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays. The phone number is 978-925-9770.
