AYER — Nashoba Park Assisted Living recently unveiled renovations to the facility’s common spaces.
An expansion project that began in 2021 courtesy of the Volunteers of America of Massachusetts, renovations focused on updates to some of the residents’ favorite spaces, including their lounge, library, sun room, game room and more. Renovations included new carpeting and furnishings, paint and accent wallpaper throughout the first floor and updated upholstery fabrics, accessories and light fixtures.
In a press release regarding the renovations, Nashoba Park said they ushered a “modern, stylish” feel into the facility’s common spaces and said the facility, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, has the look of a “brand new assisted living community.”
Nashoba Park Executive Director Kimberly Gagnon said the project showed the assisted living facility’s continued dedication to its residents and an enhanced quality of life.
“We know that Nashoba Park is our residents’ home, and this project shows how much we want to invest in them and make our community as comfortable as possible,” Gagnon said. “If you haven’t been inside Nashoba Park in some time, I encourage you to come for a visit; it’s truly a transformation.”
