PEPPERELL — The Pepperell Business Association Summer Concert Series and Ice Cream Socials are back on track.

All concerts take place at the town field bandstand. The series runs for six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. As always, free ice cream will be provided by Dr. Davis Ice Cream and Charlotte’s Rail Trail Ice Cream.

The Pepperell Business Association is grateful to Main Street Bank, which has sponsored the events since its inception. The association said it was grateful to its “many local businesses” who are also sponsoring the series.

This year’s series started Tuesday with a performance from Mick & Kid. Remaining concerts include:

July 19: Eastwood Peak

July 26: Nashoba Valley Concert Band

August 2: RipChord

August 9: Angela West & Showdown

August 16: Soul Project

Each week the PBA partners with local nonprofit organizations to host the concerts. Come and see what these deserving groups have to offer: July 12: Pepperell Community Arts; July 19: Peter Fitz Collaborative; July 26: Pepperell Fire Department; Aug 2: VFW; Aug 9: Friends of Pepperell Seniors; and Aug 16: PACH.

Rain policy: If Tuesday brings rain, the concert will be rescheduled to the following day. If Wednesday is also a rainy day, then that week’s concert will be altogether canceled.
