
TOWNSEND — Town children has a fun afternoon last Saturday afternoon searching for thousands of trinket and candy-filled Easter eggs at the surrounding grounds of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in West Townsend.
Ten Townsend VFW Auxiliary members, one past VFW State Commander, seven North Middlesex student volunteers, and two friends filled more than 2,200 colorful plastic eggs with candy which for town youngsters to find during the hunt.
