GROTON — If you find yourself missing the weekly farmers market or wishing you could have fresh local produce for Thanksgiving, the Holiday Market has you covered.

This year’s holiday market will take place in a historic barn setting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Williams’ Barn, 160 Chicopee Row, Groton.

The market will feature fruits and vegetables from Spiczka Farm, micro greens and tea from Griffin Farm and local meats and dog treats by Laszlo Farm. Valicenti Pasta Farm will be offering fresh pasta and sauces, including lasagna and ravioli. There will also be holiday pies ready made by the Purple Carrot Bakery.

Other vendors will be selling homemade crafts to get you started on your Christmas gift list including Blue Cottage Soap, Countryside Cupcakes, Pastrone alpaca products, Usborne Books, Grateful Taste’s jellies and jams, and clothes from Heather’s.

Live music will be provided by Back to the Garden while warm soup, crusty bread, mulled cider and cider doughnuts are served.

The holiday fair is a chance to meet neighbors, connect with local farmers, support small businesses, help protect open space and benefit the environment.
