Dunstable Eagle Scout candidate creates care packages for kids

Abbie Axon of Dunstable, far right, recently completed her Eagle Scout project, which consisted of sending care packages to 38 children in the pediatric wing of Seven Hills Extended Care in Groton. Seven Hills is a skilled nursing community that cares for severely disabled people who need 24-hour care. Abbie and some friends created the care packages because the facility was under lockdown during the pandemic, and even parents couldn’t visit the children being treated. From left with Abbie are Kiran Krishnaswamy, Annalise Stangroom, Lily Wood and Keira Stangroom.
