PEPPERELL – Rick Green, CEO of 1A Auto, has announced that on behalf of the owners and employees at 1A Auto, several nonprofit agencies in communities where the Pepperell-based company has facilities have each received a check for $1,000.

The agencies include: PACH Outreach, a food bank in Pepperell; the Salvation Army of Lowell, which serves the Greater Merrimack Valley; the Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center of Jacksonville, Fla.; the Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center of Reno, Nev.; and the Salvation Army Olathe Corp Community Centers of Olathe, Kan.

“I am proud of the hard work our employees put into our company each and every day, which enables us to support the communities we work and live in” Green said.

Green and his family founded 1A Auto in 1999. It is now the largest online auto-parts retailer.
