PEPPERELL – Those dealing with food insecurity this holiday season will have the chance to get some local assistance.
The Pepperell Aid from Community to Home Outreach group will offer Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to families in Pepperell and Dunstable.
This effort is very much in line with the group’s usual work of providing food, personal care items and referrals to resources to local residents. These residents include seniors, families and single adults with employment difficulties.
Sign-ups to receive the baskets are open from now until Dec. 3. Those interested can sign-up at the PACH headquarters located at 66 Hollis St. in Pepperell, by phone at 978-925-9770 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, PACH is only taking advance orders and cannot accommodate immediate walk-in and pick-up orders. PACH is also only taking check donations due to the pandemic to prevent tainted food from spreading the virus. When issuing orders, residents should give name and phone numbers for contact information.
PACH is also looking for volunteers to help its food pantry and drive product. Those interested can call 978-925-9770 for more information.
