TOWNSEND — Rollstone Bank & Trust has partnered with the North Middlesex Regional School District to bring state-of-the-art scoreboards to the high school baseball and softball fields that serve roughly 500 student athletes every year.

The donation of $15,700 will outfit each ball field at the high school with a Fair-Play BA-7107 Solar-Powered Scoreboard in time for the spring 2021 season.

“To say we are grateful is an understatement,” said North Middlesex Athletic Director Cameron Fisk. “Rollstone Bank & Trust is helping us serve our shared community. Their support of this project will have a significant impact on these programs. Baseball and softball, in particular, are two sports on the rise at North Middlesex and this tremendous upgrade will help us elevate these programs even further.”

“Despite the uncertain future of when student athletes might again take the field, we’re pleased knowing that when they do, they’ll have fields with state-of-the-art technology to record their victories,” said Martin Connors Jr., president and CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “We take great pride in supporting our local schools and students, who are the future of our communities.”
