WESTFORD – Nashoba Valley Technical High School continues to offer free lunch, at no cost, to all local children and young adults under the ages of 21.
Nashoba Tech’s Grab and Go Meals will be offered until further notice on Mondays and Thursdays, with multiple meals being provided each day. On Mondays, three breakfasts and three lunches will be provided, and on Thursday, four of each will be provided, giving enough breakfasts and lunches for a week.
The program is offered through the National School Lunch Program’s Seamless Summer Option.The meals are available regardless of place residence, and recipients are not required to live in the school district.
The program promotes social distancing.
Employees of Nashoba Tech’s cafeteria prepare the meals, which are distributed at the entrance of the school, at 100 Littleton Road (Route 110), from 11 a.m. to noon on the scheduled days. Meals must be pre-ordered up until 9 p.m., the day before.
