GROTON – Over the holidays, the eighth-graders at Groton-Dunstable Regional Middle School contributed themed baskets to Project Mitten.

Once again this year, student sand their families donated items for 10 raffle baskets, then sold raffle tickets as chances to win the baskets. Baskets were decorated by students before the raffle, then the baskets were raffled off on the day before holiday vacation.

The students collected more than $3,600 for the Groton Community Children’s Fund Project Mitten, benefiting families throughout the G-D school district and community.
