ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The following local residents made the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2018 fall semester:

Evan Bilafer of Harvard, who is in the biomedical engineering program.

James Harkins of Pepperell, who is in the game design and development program.

Jonah Krampitz of Groton, who is in the computer science program.

Nick Resca of Groton, who is in the computer science program.

Alexandra Sinnery of Groton, who is in the packaging science program.

Jon Frey of Dunstable, who is in the applied mathematics program.

Chris DeNyse of Dunstable, who is in the biochemistry program.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean’s list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Pepperell’s Carney on MCLA dean’s list

NORTH ADAMS — Erin Carney of Pepperell was recently named to the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

Groton residents on Tuft’s dean’s list

MEDFORD — Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. Local students earning dean’s list honors: Maxwell Battles of Groton, Alexander von Campe of Groton. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Wilder, Platt honored at Bates

LEWISTON — The following students have been named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2018. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.71 or higher.

Nick Wilder of Groton, a 2015 graduate of Concord Academy. The son of Mr. and Mrs. David A. Wilder of Groton, he is a senior at Bates. He is majoring in English and Chinese.

Alex Platt of Groton, a 2017 graduate of Groton-Dunstable Regional High School. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. B. Platt of Groton, he is a first-year student at Bates.

Fales on Bryant president’s list

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Bryant University recently recognized the students who have been named to president’s list and dean’s list for fall 2018.

The president’s list is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant’s highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work. Local students include: Benjamin Strauss of Dunstable, Kaitlyn Fales of Townsend.

Locals named to the dean’s list: Anthony Deluca of Ayer, Kaitlyn Fales of Townsend, Evan Leonard of Groton, Shannon O’Connor of Harvard, Meagan Odell of Groton, Julia Sheehan of Pepperell, Benjamin Strauss of Dunstable.

Maddalone named at Univ. of Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio — Camden Maddalone of Harvard was named to the fall 2018 dean’s list at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
