FITCHBURG — The Laurelwood Garden club will hold its monthly meeting Friday, March 8, at the Fitchburg Art Museum, 185 Elm Street, at 9:30 a.m.

A hands-on workshop will be conducted by member, Sarah Grant as she instructs members with her whimsical and garden talent in creating a fairy garden to take home. Refreshments for this meeting will be provided by Joan Pease and Debbie St.Vrain.

The Laurelwood Garden Club is offering two separate scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to a high school senior who plans to pursue an education in any of the following areas: horticulture, botany, agriculture, landscape design, floral design or environmental studies. Students can obtain an application from their school guidance office or contact club member Kathleen McGuigan at 978 582 -9370.

The Art in Bloom event will be held at the Fitchburg Art Museum, l85 Elm St., Fitchburg from Thursday, April 25, until Sunday, April 28.
