GROTON — In honor of MLK Day, the Groton Interfaith Council is once again hosting the Annual Community Pot-luck Breakfast.
This year will feature Josh and Amy Degen explaining what they’ve been doing over the past few years to restore a Jewish Cemetery in Bialystok, Poland that was destroyed by the Nazis during World War II.
For more information, see http://bialystokcemeteryrestoration.org/. There will be a discussion following his presentation.
The event will begin with breakfast at 10 a.m. in the First Parish Church in Groton on Monday, Jan. 21, and the speaker will follow.
The event is free. All ages welcome. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share.
