LITTLETON — The Cannon Theatre is pleased to present its popular Radio Play adaptation of “A Christmas Carol.” Among the actors in this production are several local actors: Shawn Cannon of Ayer, Janna Rains and Larry Lickteig of Groton, Hyrum Thompson and Steve Temple of Pepperell.
The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials, the magic of live sound effects, and a caroling quartet singing holiday favorites. A handful of actors bring dozens of characters to the stage, as the familiar story unfolds: Three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a thrilling journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying “Bah Humbug!”
Shows are Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors/students, and are available at www.TheCannonTheatre.org
