LITTLETON — Littleton Country Gardeners is sponsoring a series of workshops on garden crafts for children.
The most recent was on Thursday, Oct. 25. Children enjoyed “Flower Filled Pumpkin,” cleaning out fresh pumpkins, then installing fresh flowers. It made for a nice centerpiece.
All workshops are scheduled from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Couper Room of the Reuben Hoar Library. The workshop is free, and is open to students in grades 3-5. Sign up at the library desk by day before the workshop.
Future scheduled workshops include:
* “Thanksgiving Centerpiece,” Nov. 15.
* “Decorated Fresh Wreath,” Dec. 13.
* “Shamrock Pot,” March 11.
* “Fairy Garden,” April 8.
* “Herb Planting at Council on Aging,” May 20.
