DEVENS — Brittany Loring, who was born and raised in Ayer, was among the people who was severely injured at the Boston Marathon in 2013 when bombs went off near the finish line.

Shortly after, she started a foundation (Brittany Fund for Trauma and Recovery) to give back to other survivors of trauma.

On Saturday, April 7, the foundation will host the annual 5K/10K on Devens, which also has a 1 Mile Memorial Walk and a (free) Kids’ Fun Run.

The 5K and 10K will both begin at 9 a.m. Each paid entry (5K, 10K, and walk) get a free T-shirt. Sign ups are at brittanyfund.org.
