LEOMINSTER — For the 10th year in a row, Montachusett Home Care’s staff was able to purchase gifts for a needy family selected by the Salvation Army to receive help this holiday season.
The agency collected over $500 to provide gifts for a single mother and her children. Gifts for the children included clothes, walkers, stuffed animals, books, and bath toys. Their mother will be receiving pajamas, a robe and slippers, and two throws, as well as three different $50 gift cards, one from Market Basket, Target, and Walmart.
Shopping for this year’s gifts were MHCC Fiscal Clerk Susan Lanciani and Volunteer Coordinator Peggy Glowacki.
