PEPPERELL — Now is the most exciting, dangerous and important time to be alive, according to Ellen Moyer.

Our current environmental crises call on us to upgrade to a new way of life that will sustain us and our world far into the future.

The environmental consultant with a doctorate in civil engineering believes we can repair the environmental crisis we are in and create a sustainable way of life in an enjoyable way,

Moyer will give a talk, “Sustainable Living; how we can create a sustainable world and thrive while doing so,” at the Lawrence Library in Pepperell on Nov. 8.

Copies of Moyer’s book, “Our Earth, Our Species, Our Selves: How to Thrive While Creating a Sustainable World,” will be available for signing.
