Halloween falls on the last day of October. Miniature ghosts and goblins will go from door to door begging for candy as darkness falls.
Locally, trick-or-treaters will be out during the following times on Tuesday, Oct. 31:
Trick-or-treat hours are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Ayer, Groton, Pepperell, Shirley and Townsend. Harvard’s hours that day are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Also in Shirley, trick-or-treating will be held at the Town Hall on Oct. 30, 3 to 5 p.m.
