Genealogy & DNA: Oct 3. and Tue Oct. 17, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Learn About Ancestral DNA Testing and Genealogy with Jeff Carpenter & Dr. Sandy Murray. This is a two-part class; please sign up only if you can attend both sessions.

Shakespeare’s Hamlet & Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman: Two Very Different but Comparable Tragedies. Led by retired classics professor, David Ross. Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Sept. 28 to Nov. 2. The six-week course will focus on Hamlet (how it is as a stage drama, what a Shakespearean tragedy is, who the characters are, and what it all means), comparing it to a modern American tragedy.

Racial Justice with Donna Nowak, Sarah Iacobucci, and John Wool: Thursdays, Sept. 28 to Nov. 2, 7 to 8:30 p.m. The six-week curriculum explores such subjects as micro-aggression, white privilege, labels and logos, racial history, and the “what can I do?” question.

Stories Only You Can Tell: A Memoir-Writing Workshop with Zoann Guernsey. Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Oct. 3-Nov. 7. In six weeks, we will work on capturing and crafting the stories you hold.
