MAYNARD — Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts and 6 Bridges Gallery invite all area artists to submit pieces for an Art Show and Online Auction and invite all to visit and bid on pieces.
The show, titled “Home is Where the Art Is”, centers around recycled art.
The submitted pieces will be displayed in a show at 6 Bridges Gallery from Jan. 12 through Feb. 3, 2018.
Registration is free.
Registration forms and more information can be found at NCMHabitat.org and 6BridgesGallery.com.
A ReStore purchase is not necessary to participate in the exhibit — however artists who register by Sept. 1 will receive a gift certificate to the Habitat NCM ReStore to purchase items that may be used in their creations.
The show will begin with a reception on Jan. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. and will end with another reception on Feb. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The event is being held to raise funds for ongoing Habitat home construction and repair in the 25 towns served by the organization.
The artists’ reception and Art Show are free for attendees to view the art and meet the artists.
Light refreshments will be served. The art will feature “reclaimed” and “repurposed” objects transformed into unique art pieces by local artists.
