Fitness Your Weigh donates to PACH
PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

PEPPERELL — Steve Levesque, owner of Fitness Your Weigh, and his fitness manager Kerry Madden stopped by the PACH Outreach Food Pantry to present nonperishable food items and a cash donation to Pantry coordinators, Robin Crocker and Lisa Richard.

Fitness Your Weigh has a long history of community support. The business was previously located in Groton, where they would donate funds raised by members from yearly challenge events to the local pantry, “Loaves and Fishes.”

Earlier this year the business moved to a new location, 20 Mill St in Pepperell. Not long after the move, Kerry reached out to PACH and informed the staff that they would like to continue their tradition of support by including PACH as a beneficiary of their events along, with Loaves and Fishes.

And then “Challenge” was on. Members of Fitness Your Weigh, along with Pepperell residents, were invited to participate in a Plankathon. Challenge members obtained pledges based on the number of minutes the participant could hold the plank position.

There are several ways that you can do a plank but the most common is a long stretch where only the forearms and toes touch the floor. Keeping the mantra “No Plank too Small, No Donation too Big” in mind, participants gave it their all. A total of more than $1,500 was raised. Both PACH and Loaves and Fishes received donations of $775.
