GROTON — Absentee Ballots for Groton’s Tuesday, May 16, Annual Town Election are available at the Town Clerk’s Office.

Monday, May 15 at Noon is the last day and hour to request an absentee ballot. All Absentee Ballots must be received by the Town Clerk by election day in order to be counted. Please allow time for mailing or be prepared to vote in the Clerk’s office.

Massachusetts allows voters to vote by absentee ballot if they: will be absent from your city or town on election day, and/or have a physical disability that prevents your voting at the polling place, and/or cannot vote at the polls due to religious beliefs.

This is a busy ballot. In addition to four contested races, there are two Proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusion override questions related to a new Senior Center on the ballot. Please contact the Town Clerk s office at 978-448-1100 or townclerk@townofgroton.org for more information.
