A little wine, a little food, a lot of thanks at library

PEPPERELL — The Friends of Lawrence Library and Pepperell Beverage would like to thank everyone who attended the 9th annual Wine Tasting Gala. More than 150 guests sipped on dozens of wine choices, throughout the 11 different beverage stations and feasted on the wonderful desserts and hors d’oeuvres.

The Friends would like to extend their gratitude to the many local businesses that advertised in the booklet and donated generously to make the event a success. The Bronze Bell and The country Florist donated the beautiful floral arrangements. The guests enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres, coffee, and desserts from Bailey’s Bar and Grill, C&S Pizza, Mariano’s Pizza Pizzazz, Costco, Donelan’s of Pepperell, Shaw’s on Daniel Webster, Hannaford’s of Townsend, Starbuck, and Trader Joes. Amanda Loreth of AB Music School and Victor Valley donated their time playing lovely flute music for guests relaxing in the art gallery.

Advertisers for the event included Pepperell Beverage, AB Music School, The Music Nook, Pizza Pizzazz, Therapeutic Massage of Pepperell, Century 21 Nashoba Associates, C&S Pizza, Mariano’s, Donelan’s Supermarket of Pepperell, Lorden True Value, L.F. Robbins Insurance, Art of Healing Holistic Center, William M. Auffinger, D.D.S., Ten Broeck Insurance Group, Mark Vasapolli, Regional Vice President Primerica, Pepperell Family Pharmacy,

Each guest received a wine glass, etched with the picture of the original NMRHS, in which to enjoy their many samples. The wine glass image was designed by the talented Emelia Misail who is a Senior at NMRHS. Friends would like to thank Vicki Domings and the NMRHS art department for their assistance with the project. Additional wine glasses are on sale at the Library and Pepperell Family Pharmacy.

Of course the gala would not have been possible without the help of the 2017 Wine Tasting Committee members and other volunteers.

Thank you all who attended this event and supporting the Friends of the Lawrence Library which continues to provide funding for materials, supplies, and programs for the whole public of all ages to enjoy.
