GROTON — A one-year seat for the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District Committee was added to the ballot for the unexpired term of Alison Manugian. Nomination papers are available now.
Manugian resigned from her seat on the committee and has taken out papers for a seat on the Board of Selectmen. Two selectman positions are on ballot.
Peter Cunningham, who had been on the board since 1996, announced he will not run for re-election.
Selectman Anna Elliot has submitted nomination papers for re-election. Manugian, Russell J. Burke and Brooks T. Lyman have papers out.
The voter registration deadline for both the Spring Town Meeting and the annual town election is Tuesday, April 4 at 8 p.m.
The Spring Annual Town Meeting will be held beginning on Monday, April 24 at 7:00 PM at the Groton-Dunstable Middle School Performing Arts Center, 344 Main Street.
The annual town election will be held on Tuesday May 16, 2017. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
