HARVARD — The Town Caucus to nominate candidates for election to certain town offices will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room. The two people receiving the highest number of votes for each opening will be nominated by the caucus.
You need not be present at the caucus to be nominated for a position, however you must sign the caucus certificate of nomination by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, in the Town Clerk’s office for your name to appear on the ballot.
You may also run for office by taking out nomination papers. The papers must be filed with the Town Clerk by 5 p.m. on February 14. 27 certified signatures of voters registered in Harvard are required to place a candidate on the ballot for town elections.
The close of voter registration for the April 1 Annual Town Meeting and the Town Election will be Friday, March 16.
The Annual Town Election will be held on April 4, 2017, 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., in the Bromfield School Cafeteria.
