There is a State Election on Sept. 8 and a Presidential Election on Nov. 8. It is never too early to register to vote or to fill out an absentee ballot application. Students who are leaving for college are more than welcome to come into the town clerk’s office to register to vote and/or fill out an absentee ballot application to make sure you are able vote in the remainder of elections this year. It is really easy to do and takes no more than 5 minutes to do both. You may also register to vote online and print out an absentee ballot application online. Both can be found at the town clerk’s page on the town website at http://town.pepperell.ma.us. There are voter registration sessions being held in the town clerk’s office on Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Oct, 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
