PEPPERELL — Nate Glencross homered twice and knocked in six runs to lead the Groton Black team to the Macintosh League Major 50/70 championship over host Pepperell,13-2, Saturday night at Bartelson Field.

Will Bordes also homered and had 5 RBI. Max Riordan homered for Pepperell, who was held to three hits. Aidan Jackson added 2 RBI, while Tommy Onishi, Ethan Ebersman and Sam O’Hagan. The Crusaders were led defensively by shortstop Jay Fulreader and third baseman Colin Taylor.
