DEVENS — Fort Devens closed as an active Army base on March 31, 1996, after training men and women since 1917 and deploying troops to every 20th century conflict. Soon after, the state purchased much of the cantonment area and began redevelopment.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The museum is located at 94 Jackson Road, Devens, 3rd floor. For information, email info@fortdevensmuseum.org or call 978-772-1286.
