TOWNSEND — The water main work on Main Street near North Middlesex Regional High School originally scheduled for Sept. 29 has been rescheduled to Monday, Oct. 5.
The contractor will be installing the water supply line for the new school beginning about 7 a.m.
The area of excavation is located in front of Dunkin Donuts in Townsend Harbor and involves excavating a trench across Main Street.
One lane of traffic will be maintained throughout the day. However, to avoid delays and alleviate the amount of traffic through the construction area, please seek an alternate route by utilizing Spaulding Street and Proctor Road.
