Pepperell resident Beth Helfter will present a lecture titled “Give It a Scrap Slap” at Quilt Expo in Madison, Wis.
Quilt Expo’s lectures are given by notable quilting authorities, and provide an opportunity for quilters of all skill levels to acquire new ideas from leading quilting educators.
Quilt Expo, presented by Wisconsin Public Television and Nancy Zieman Productions LLC, runs Thursday, Sept. 10, through Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
Other highlights include a 10-category quilt contest exhibit, a vendor mall with the latest sewing and quilting products, Sit & Sew and hands-on workshops, a prize raffle and the opportunity to meet public television’s Nancy Zieman.
