No appointment is necessary.

Hundreds will participate in the American Cancer Society’s Greater Ayer Relay for Life tonight, starting at 6 p.m. at the Ayer Shirley Regional High School track, and ending at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Opening ceremony and celebratory cancer survivors lap at 6 p.m. Luminaria ceremony at 9 p.m.

Father’s Day fishing derby June 21

The Ayer Sportman’s Club will host a Father’s Day fishing derby Sunday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Adults $14; kids 10 and under, $6. Open to the public. No license required. Three-fish limit per pole.
