Plans are well underway for the annual Trinity Chapel Strawberry Festival to be held at 161 Center Road in Shirley on Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, June 21, from noon to 3 p.m.
Strawberry Shortcake will be featured, along with hot-dogs, hamburgers and baked goods.
There will be live music during the lunch period.
One popular feature is the silent auction, which will include specialty foods, gift certificates to restaurants and stores, tickets to music events and series, personal services such as baby-sitting or garden planning, as well as fancy gift baskets.
Another favorite is the plant table, with annuals and perennials of all kinds and sizes.
Come and browse the selection of “white elephants,” books and CD’s.
