Parade acts and vendors wanted
Fresh Ayer Celebration of Independence
The Ayer July 4th Parade and Fireworks will take place on Saturday, July 4, with a rain date of Sunday, July 5.
The committee is seeking parade acts and participants as well as food and craft vendors.
The parade will step off at 3 p.m. from St. Mary’s Church and activities will commence in Pirone Park at 4:30 p.m.
Interested vendors or parade participants should call David Maher, 978-772-8206, for any and all information and applications. Don’t be left out of one of the areas best known, best attended July 4th celebrations.

Sunday breakfast for Mother’s Day May 9
The Ayer Sportsmen’s Club will hold an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast on Sunday from 8-11 a.m.
The available menu includes French toast, pancakes, home fries and more, with free coffee and juice.
The public is welcome!
Adults $10, seniors $6 and children 10 and under, $4, and mothers eat free!
Final breakfast of the season.
Proceeds will benefit children’s programs sponsored by the club, which is located at 255 Snake Hill Road in Ayer, 978-772-9748.
Room rentals are also available!
‘Paint the town Purple’ May 16
The American Cancer Society will “Paint the Town Purple” in celebration of its annual Relay For Life event.
On Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Relay For Life volunteers will be setting up booths on Main Street with team fundraising activities. There will be things to do, food and entertainment for all ages.
