Ayer Shirley Regional High School Drama Club presents “The Addams Family”

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare!

The ASRHS Drama Club has gone all out this year! In addition to the talented student cast and crew, the musical will have a live 12-piece orchestra and the actual Broadway national tour scenery, sets, costumes and props. The auditorium will be transformed into the kooky and spooky world of the The Addams Family. Not to be missed!

The show is directed by Mike Hoffmann, with musical direction by Jared Bloch and choreography by Melissa Lynch.

Performances will be held in the newly renovation auditorium in the Ayer Shirley Regional High School, 141 Washington St., on Friday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Eat pancakes May 2, help send Pack 32 Ayer Cub Scouts to summer camp!

On Saturday, May 2, visit St. Andrew’s Parish Hall at 7 Faulkner St. in Ayer and pile on the pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage and home fries! Ticket sales for Cub Scout Pack 32’s annual Tyler-Harrington Memorial Campership Breakfast help the Pack provide camp scholarships that makes summer camp an option for local Scouts who might otherwise miss out. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. Advance tickets will be $5 from a Pack 32 Cub Scout or by calling 978-866-6521. You can also purchase them from The Cottage restaurant on Main St. in Ayer. On the day of the breakfast, tickets will be $7 at the door ($5 for seniors and kids 12 and under).

Yard sale and electronics recycle event May 2

Recycle your unwanted electronics for a nominal donation on Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Caleb Butler Lodge, 11 Sculley Road, Ayer.

All proceeds from this combined event go to the Ayer Masonic Building Association, which plans to make needed improvements to the lodge exterior.

Well adult clinic May 14

Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Shirley Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held on Thursday, May 14, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Senior Center 9 Parker Road. D’Ambrosio’s Eye Care Team will offer FREE vision screenings, including glaucoma screening and personal consultation with an ophthalmologist.
