DEVENS — At an EHS roundtable March 27, 8-9:30 a.m., local employees with environmental, health and/or safety responsibilities are invited to hear about the new Massachusetts Comprehensive Fire Safety Code (527 CMR 1.00) that went into effect Jan. 1 and how it may affect your facility. Speaker will be David Beaudin, Code Compliance & Enforcement Unit, Mass. Dept. of Fire Services-Division of Fire Safety.

This comprehensive rule is modeled after the National Fire Prevention Association’s Model Fire Code NFPA-1.

The meeting will be held at the Devens Eco-Efficiency Center on 33 Andrews Parkway, Devens.
