Town Clerk’s Office hours extended for absentee voters

PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot for the Nov. 4 state election is Monday, Nov. 3, at noon. Because of the interest in this election and the often last minute need for absentee ballots, the Town Clerk’s Office will extend its normal hours to include:

Friday, Oct. 31, open until 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 1, open 9 a.m. to noon.

The Nov. 4 state election features races for statewide and federal offices, including governor, lt. governor and attorney general. The ballot also has four initiative petition questions, including eliminating gas tax indexing, expanded beverage container deposits and prohibitions on gaming and earned sick time for employees.

Please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 978-448-1100 or townclerk@townofgroton.org if you would like more information. Thank you for voting.
