Townsend Library Used Book and Craft Sale in November!
Friends of the Townsend Library is now accepting donations during library hours.
We accept fiction, nonfiction and CDs and DVDs in good condition. No encyclopedias, text books or technical books. Please bring to Main Desk.
The book sale is Friday, Nov. 7, from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Any unused craft supplies (fabric, felt., yarn, paint, paper, scrap-booking materials, beads, silk/plastic flowers, wood pieces, etc.) accepted. Please bring to Children’s Room. The craft sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Townsend Public Library is located at 12 Dudley Road, Townsend, MA 01469. Both the book and craft sale are open to the general public.
The Friends group financially assists with needed supplies, museum passes and guest speakers/instructors/performers.

The registration fee is $90 per player. If registered before Oct. 31, the fee will be $80.
There is a maximum cap is $160 per family.

Turkey dinner Oct. 25
Townsend Congregational Church invites you to enjoy a turkey dinner with all the fixings on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 5-6:30 p.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 through 8. As always, children under 3 eat free! Dinners are also available for take-out.

Halloween Bash to smash CF Nov. 1
The Third Annual Halloween Bash to Smash CF, featuring, refreshments, raffles and a DJ, will be held at the Townsend Ridge Country Club on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Ashby Elementary School Christmas fair Nov. 15
Ashby Elementary School will host its Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join us for a fun day filled with crafters, vendors, prizes, lunch, entertainment, kid’s corner and more. Bring your camera and enjoy a special visit from Andy, the Texas Roadhouse Armadillo, who will pass out lunch cards to all the kids.
