‘Welcome to the Graveyard’ Oct. 30

Cemetery educators the Gravestone Girls, whose mission is to “Keep our dead alive,” will be presenting a virtual tour called “Welcome to the Graveyard,” centered on Pepperell’s four local cemeteries, at Lawrence Library on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m.

The 90-minute presentation is built on photographs recently taken in these special and interesting burying places around Pepperell, which was founded in 1753, and charts the evolution of cemeteries and gravestones from the colonial era into the 21st century.

The program will be held in the library at 15 Main St., Pepperell. Register online at lawrencelibrary.org (click on Event Calendar) — space is limited.

For information, call the library at 978-433-0330.
