SHIRLEY — Rehearsals will start on Tuesday, Oct. 28, for Shirley’s Community Christmas Concert.

This annual event to benefit Loaves and Fishes will take place on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. and will feature choral numbers, soloists, instrumentals and dances.

The chorus is open to singers from grade 4 through teens and adults who will learn musical selections about Santa, snowflakes and the first Christmas. Chorus rehearsals will be held at the Ayer Shirley Middle School from 7- 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. Soloists will rehearse from 8:30-9 p.m.

People who have any questions, and musicians who would like to play a seasonal song on their instrument, should contact the program director Meredith Marcinkewicz at mail@shirleyarts.org.
