Veterans breakfast Oct. 11

The next Veterans Breakfast will be held this Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Pepperell VFW. Our gracious sponsor is state Sen. Eileen Donoghue. We hope to see you all there for another great breakfast event in honor all our veterans, active duty soldiers and reservists.

Tyler Michaud is a blues rock guitarist from Townsend, and the Lawrence Library’s Open Mic DJ. He also teaches at the Pepperell Music Center. Tyler will be performing a wide variety of music from slow blues to upbeat rock and roll, covering the work of Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Pink Floyd, Steve Vai, and much more!

Free and open to the public; light refreshments sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library and coffee provided by Starbucks Coffee, Nashua, NH.

The Hollis Woman’s Club will be holding its Fall Yard Sale at the Lawrence Barn, Depot Road, in Hollis, on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We are gratefully accepting donations to be sold. Spaces may be reserved for $20, a space and table for $25. Tables are limited and are available on the first come, first served basis.
