Plan ahead! Groton’s Fall Town Meeting will be held beginning Monday, Oct. 20, at the Performing Arts Center at the Groton-Dunstable Middle School, 344 Main St.

The warrant for the meeting will be mailed to every household in Groton 14 days in advance. The warrant contains the articles for discussion and vote at the meeting.

The 27 articles for this meeting will include budget adjustments, local option meals tax, public safety building improvements, potential sale of Prescott and Tarbell school buildings, zoning amendments affecting the Town Center Overlay District, potential lease of the closed landfill site for a solar array, appointment of an electronic voting study committee as well as others.
