SOUTHBOROUGH — The Wachusett District Dental Society has elected Arthur Eddy, DMD, to serve as a trustee of the Massachusetts Dental Society.
An MDS member since 1981, Dr. Eddy has served as chair of the MDS Council on Public Affairs, Committee of Government Affairs and Political Action Committee. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Eddy earned his bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College, and his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
He maintains a private practice at 228 Great Road in Shirley. He also resides in Shirley with his wife, Michelle.
The Massachusetts Dental Society is a 5,000-member professional association and statewide constituent of the American Dental Association. Established in 1864, the MDS is an organization dedicated to improving the oral health of the public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and also advancing the professional development of its membership through initiatives in education, advocacy, and promotion of the highest professional standards.
