The Hope Community Chorus will gather for a reunion, recruiting, sing-along and planning session for the 2014-2015 season on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 6 p.m. in the Townsend Meeting Hall on Dudley Road. Current members, newcomers, curious people of all ages and music talents are cordially invited.
Following their June, SRO, rocking Short and Sweet inaugural concert and riding the waves of success and fame (and a surprising amount of fortune), the Hope Community Chorus members are enjoying rave reviews: “They’re better than they think they are,” and “They’re better than I thought they’d be,” said some, if not many.
The Meeting Hall will again be filled with the sounds of the Hope Community Chorus. Refreshments will be provided with members and visitors encouraged to bring ideas, requests and good spirit.
Unable to attend on Aug. 12? Regular rehearsals resume on Sept. 8 in the Meeting Hall at 11 a.m.
Supported by the Council on Aging, the Townsend Senior Center and the Friends of the Townsend Seniors, the chorus is open to all — don’t underestimate your potential. It free, it’s fun and you’ll meet a lot of nice people along the way.
