Town of Harvard Fireworks July 2
Rain date July 6
Celebrate Independance Day at Fruitlands as the town of Harvard holds its annual fireworks display. Parking is $20/car, or $10 with a 2014 Harvard Fireworks T-shirt, for sale at the General Store. All proceeds benefit the fireworks committee. Bands will begin to play at 5 p.m. Fireworks will commence at sunset.
Well adult clinic July 15
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Harvard Board of Health, announces that a Well Adult Clinic will be held on Tuesday, July 15, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Hildreth House, COA, 15 Elm St., Harvard. Drop in for blood pressure, pulse screening and diet teaching. No appointment is necessary. Vacation Bible School at Trinity Church, Bolton, starts July 28
SonTreasure Island Vacation Bible School (VBS) is being offered July 28 to Aug. 1, at Trinity Church located at 14 Wattaquadock Hill Road in Bolton (just off Route 117). This free program runs from 9 a.m. to noon and is for children age 4 through those entering eighth-grade. Children will have fun with tropical island-themed activities as they participate in music, craft time, recreation, and snack. They will also hear Bible stories about Jesus where they will find out who He is and why they need Him.
