It incorporates music, movement, ritual, repetition, positive reinforcement, developmental tips, nursery rhymes, illustrations, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and book reading into a fun-filled 45 minute session for infants to 2-year-olds and caregivers (older siblings also welcome). Ask to be put on the email list for last minute schedule changes.
Summer schedule for the Infant Storytime will be: Thursdays at 10:30 from July 10 through August 7

Ice Cream Social ~ Summer Reading Kickoff! – All Ages: Tuesday, June 24 at 3:00 PM
Come make your own yummy sundaes, socialize with friends, and enjoy fun activities, including: face painting, paper airplane making, sidewalk chalk art, and bubble blowing. Volunteers needed to help with activities – please sign up to volunteer in the Children’s Room. Two rain dates are scheduled: Wednesday, June 25 & Thursday, June 26. Ice Cream Social attendees are encouraged to bring their own non-disposable bowls, cups, & spoons. As in the past, the library will also still provide disposable bowls, cups & spoons. Please, PLEASE pre-register for the Ice Cream Social (preferably at least a week ahead), both so we can provide enough sweet treats for all, and also so that we can notify you if we need to use a rain date. The Brown Bag Book Club is held the third Wednesday of every month at noon. Drop-ins are welcome! The next meeting on June 18th will be at Fruitlands to discuss summer suggestions.
