PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

WESTFORD — Terri Cadrette of Townsend has been selected Student of the Month for April at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Terri, daughter of John Cadrette and under the guardianship of her aunt, Anne Cadrette, is a senior in the design & visual communications program. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society, and is an honor-roll student. She competes for SkillsUSA and has assisted with the yearbook.

She has been accepted to Worcester Polytechnic Institute to study computer science.

Terri was nominated by three staff members.

English instructor Bruce Sullivan wrote: “Terri is a brilliant student who excelled in both my AP Literature and Language classes. She is one of the best and brightest students I have ever had the pleasure to teach.”

Physics instructor William Toomey wrote: “She always has the answer to any question that is asked in Honors Physics class, whether or not we have covered it. She is currently working her way through a more advanced Physics textbook than we use in class.”

Design & Visual Communications instructor Derik Rochon wrote: “She is an example of a great student who overcomes and does not fall back on her problems.”
