HARVARD — The Harvard Master Plan Steering Committee invites residents of Harvard and Devens to complete the Master Plan Survey: Analysis of Key Issues, now available online and by mail upon request.
The Master Plan Survey: Analysis of Key Issues, is designed to help Master Plan Consultant RKG Associates refine their analysis and ensure that the 10-year Master Plan accurately reflects the vision and ideas of the Harvard community. The survey, which takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, covers topics vital to Harvard’s character, including Housing, Commercial Development, Public Facilities, Town Center, Transportation, Conservation and Devens. Survey questions are drawn from views shared at recent focus groups, meetings with Harvard boards and committees, and community roundtables.
This survey is an important component of Phase 2 of the Master Plan process, which depends upon community input and open discussion to refine the vision and goals outlined in Phase 1. RKG Associates will analyze data from a variety of sources, including this survey, to help Harvard town boards and committees set policy goals and create realistic, task-oriented implementation plans.
Members of the Harvard and Devens communities can access the Analysis of Key Issues Survey on the Web at harvardmasterplan.org/survey. Paper-based copies of the survey are also available; please send your name, address and telephone number to Master Plan Survey, Town Hall, Harvard, MA 01451. The deadline to complete the survey is June 6.
